Here is a video dealing with chemical attacks on substrates such as a chimney of carbon steel for a coal-fired power plant. This chimney is in critical condition due to condensing acidic gasses. After testing 10 different products is ARC composite chosen to applicate the chimney. After 7 years in service is this chimney still in perfect condition.
